I would like to take this opportunity to introduce Bourne Surfacing & Civils Ltd and the services we provide. First a brief history of Bourne Surfacing & Civils. Bourne Surfacing & Civils was originally formed in 1996 when our director Mr Barry Draper identified a gap in the market for a dedicated and professional surfacing specialist. With this in mind he launched Bourne Surfacing & Civils and has in the 18 years since its inception become one of the largest Surfacing Specialist in the Poole & Bournemouth area. In 2002 Bourne Surfacing & Civils became a Limited company.
Who we work with
Bourne Surfacing & Civils has grown to be a preferred company providing Specialist Surfacing Solutions to all the local authorities such as Bournemouth Council, Poole Council, Christchurch Council and ultimately Dorset County Council. Alongside our preferred provider status to the local authorities we work hand in hand with major blue-chip construction companies such as Integra, Interserve & Scandor. We undertake all works from Driveway re-instatements to Major Highway contracts and have consistently provided all surfacing needs to Poole Council including the recent Twin Sails Bridge initiative at Poole Harbour.
In addition to the above we are also happy to be working in close partnership with the major utility providers such as SembCorp Bournemouth Water, Carillion, Wessex Water and Durkin & Sons. As Bourne Surfacing & Civils Ltd has grown so too have the areas that we offer our services into. This expansion of our covered areas has provided us with the opportunity to work closely with major contracts in and around the London Area including works in Hyde Park.

How can we help?
To ensure that we can provide all your Surfacing needs we have built up a large and specialist range of plant and equipment to cover all aspects of surfacing works whether it’s large or small we have it all. Specifically we can provide to you 18 ton paving machines, 10ton Ride on Rollers, Pedestrian rollers, 360° Excavators, Dumpers and a new addition to the company our very popular Bobcat T190 Planer with Multi Use bucket attachment & Rotary Brush attachment. Our plant and equipment is available to you at very competitive rates and supplied with fully trained operatives.
We supply our own transportation for plant movements in the form of a low loader which is LEZ compliant for use in the London area and also a number of lorries ranging from Fully Insulated tippers to Isuzu 3.5 ton tippers. All vehicles meet chapter 8 requirements and are equipped with Fire Extinguishers & First Aid Kits.
The services we can offer include but are not limited to Tarmacadam, Asphalt, Paver Hire, Handlay, Planing, Machine Lay, Surface Dressings, Resin Bondings & Civil Engineering works.
